Full-Time | 4+ Years Experience
Are you passionate about building production-grade AI systems? We’re looking for an AI Engineer to join our growing engineering team and take ownership of designing, building, and shipping AI-powered features — from prompt engineering and RAG pipelines to fine-tuning, evaluation, and agentic workflows.
If you thrive at the intersection of applied ML and product engineering — equally comfortable prototyping a new LLM-driven feature and hardening it into a reliable, evaluated, production system — we’d love to hear from you.
🔧 What You’ll Do
- Lead the design and development of AI/LLM-powered product features end-to-end
- Architect scalable RAG pipelines, agentic workflows, tool-use systems, and reusable AI patterns
- Collaborate with Product, Design, Backend, and Infrastructure teams to translate requirements into reliable AI experiences
- Build and maintain robust evaluation harnesses, datasets, and offline/online quality metrics
- Drive technical decisions, code reviews, and best practices for prompt design, model selection, and AI safety
- Identify and resolve bottlenecks in latency, cost, accuracy, and hallucination rates
- Fine-tune, distill, or adapt open and closed models when justified, owning their production lifecycle
- Mentor engineers and elevate the team’s craft around applied LLMs and AI systems
- Participate in sprint planning, retrospectives, and cross-functional discussions
✅ Must-Have
- 4+ years of professional software engineering experience, with significant recent work on AI/ML or LLM-powered systems
- Deep expertise in prompt engineering, RAG, function calling / tool use, and structured outputs
- Strong proficiency in Python and the modern AI ecosystem (PyTorch, Hugging Face, LangChain / LlamaIndex, or similar)
- Solid understanding of ML fundamentals: embeddings, transformers, tokenization, evaluation, and common failure modes
- Experience building and consuming AI APIs (OpenAI, Anthropic, Google, or self-hosted model endpoints)
- Familiarity with vector databases (pgvector, Pinecone, Weaviate, Qdrant, or similar) and retrieval techniques
- Experience with evaluation frameworks, A/B testing, and offline/online quality measurement
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines and modern deployment workflows
- Strong sense of ownership and ability to work independently in a remote environment
⭐ Nice-to-Have
- Experience fine-tuning, LoRA/PEFT, or distilling open-source models
- Background in backend technologies (Node.js, Python, Go, Java, etc.)
- Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, or Azure) and their AI/ML services
- Experience with multi-agent systems, planning frameworks, or long-horizon agentic workflows
- Contributions to open-source AI/ML projects
